START A FACEBOOK FUNDRAISER

A Facebook Fundraiser is quick and easy to do.  It gets the word out and a lot of money has been fundraised on Facebook so it’s a good choice.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Go to your Facebook home page
2. In the left column, click on “Fundraisers”
3. Select Non-profits
4. Choose “Ngakpa International,” the 501 c 3 non-profit umbrella organization for Dakini Mountain
5. Enter $875,000 as your financial goal or customize the goal for you
6. Enter the date you want the Fundraiser to end.  We are hoping to finish by Oct 31, 2022.
7. Put in the Title “Save Dakini Mountain”  Of course, you could use other wording.  We are trying to see if there are better results with everyone using the same appeal but you can use your own wording if you think that’s better.
8. Enter your answer to “Why are you raising money?”  Below is some copy you are free to use or, of course, use your own wording.
9. You can then just press the “create” button and it’s launched.
10. If you want to put the photo of Dakini Mountain in your Fundraiser, you are welcome to use the photos at the top of the page.
